Wise Acre Comics is a black and veteran-owned and independent comic book publisher based in Goodyear, Arizona. We write, create and publish comic books featuring diverse characters and concepts. Wise Acre Comics believes in minority entrepreneurship and a sense of community. Thus, we have taken a leadership role within low-income communities of color by encouraging literacy and cultural awareness that enriches others' lives. Wise Acre opened its virtual doors within the online domain in 2020 to meet readers’ comic needs nationwide. Wise Acre’s commitment to the community is magnified by lessening the considerable gap for low-income families’ access to quality comic books and digital content. Significant barriers stand in the way for children, teenagers, and adults in low-income communities, including the scarcity of comic books and a lack of cultural awareness in the content that do reach them. Wise Acre’s mission is to eliminate these obstacles, so every person has the chance to explore the world of comics. Wise Acre Comics will proudly boasts a diverse inventory at cost effective prices.
